Olivia Attwood has finally hard launched her romance with Pete Wicks as she shared steamy snaps of them kissing on her Instagram and said she ‘missed him’ – sending fans wild
A loved-up Olivia Attwood has taken to social media for the first time with pictures of herself and boyfriend Pete Wicks.
Last month, after months of rumours, former TOWIE star Pete, 35, confirmed their romance by sharing a number of photos from their trip to Ibiza together. “I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA [black heart emoji],” he captioned the post, which featured pictures of him and Olivia, 35, lying together on a yacht, with Olivia lying in Pete’s lap as he kissed the top of her head.
A month on and Olivia has returned the favour, making their romance ‘Instagram official’. On Wednesday, 26 August, the Loose Women star sent fans wild as she shared snaps of her and Pete kissing, as wrapped her arms around Pete’s neck.
Another snap saw Pete with his arms around Olivia as he planted a kiss on her cheek, as she gazed towards the camera. Pete could also be seen playfully placing his hand on former Love Islander Olivia’s neck, with his other on her bum as he smiled for the camera.
“Because I missed him…” she captioned the post, which was quickly flooded with likes and comments. She added in the comments: “Not because you lot bullied me into hard launching”, while Pete jokingly replied the post: “You barely realised I was gone for the first two f*cking weeks….”
Love Island host Maya Jama gushed: “Things we love to see.” Influencer Chessie King commented: “Giving us all what we want”, while author Roxie Nafousi added: “INTERNET. BROKEN.” Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha said: “Awww this warms my heart .. two energies meant to be.”
It comes after Olivia opened up to Cosmopolitan magazine about her and Pete’s relationship. The ITV presenter said: “It’s the easiest thing I’ve ever done. We’re both in this era where we just want peace and to enjoy life.
“Personality wise, I’ve never had a straight man who can go toe-to-toe with me on banter – he is the only one who can keep up. We tick a lot of the boxes that are really important in adult relationships. Pete’s a very rare person. He’s very emotionally intelligent. It’s quite remarkable,” she said.
Pete and Olivia co-host Kiss’s radio show The Sunday Roast, and were the subject of relationship rumours after images surfaced of them together earlier this year.
Earlier this year, Olivia split from ex-husband Bradley Dack, a professional footballer with whom she had a tumultuous on-off relationship for over a decade.
“Once he knew I was separated, he made his feelings known, and it all happened quite quickly,” Olivia revealed. “Our friendship group is nauseated by us – we’re one PDA away from being exiled. I’m like, ‘Who are we?’ We’re bringing out a (new) side of each other.” She went on to say that the pair “always got on so well” through years of friendship, and “bickered like brother and sister”.
