Big Brother’s Charlotte Nott has issued a heartwarming statement just days after quitting the ITV show
Big Brother star Charlotte has shared a heartfelt message with fans following her unexpected ITV exit.
The quadruple amputee is now settling back into real life after spending 13 days in the reality show, having entered alongside 15 other contestants. Taking to Instagram, the 18-year-old student told supporters that she reads every message.
“Just want to take a moment to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind messages and comments, I see and read them all,” she wrote
She added: “It has really helped me get back to my normal self. You are all making me smile every time I check my inbox. There are so many funny and sweet moments I had with all the housemates which you all never saw which makes me sad because I can’t watch them back! But hey ho,” reports the Mirror.
Her warm message comes after she chose to leave the programme after less than two weeks. One of the eager contestants who joined the show earlier this month, Charlotte was the first to depart voluntarily.
Charlotte had never lived with complete strangers before but proved popular with her fellow housemates and had not faced eviction before deciding to go. She had long dreamt of appearing on Big Brother, having watched “every year” since ITV revived it.
This was the first series she was old enough to apply for, but the experience was not quite what she had imagined. “I think it was just all the challenges we were doing, I didn’t imagine it to be like that,” Charlotte explained on Big Brother’s The Group Chat podcast.
“I’ve never seen it like that before, we had the nightmare room on day three, got through that and then I think when those doors opened in the morning and there was no furniture, it was like we were sat on the floor in boiler suits. It was not good,” she continued.

The announcement that housemates would spend a week in the House of Nothing was her breaking point. The cast were stripped of home comforts, including furniture and basic cooking equipment, and were even barred from speaking.
Housemates have been gradually earning their necessities back by completing challenges. Since returning home, Charlotte has also enjoyed a visit to a familiar favourite: her local pub.
Sharing a photo that appeared to have been taken in a beer garden, she revealed it was the place she had missed most. “I returned to the local pub for my first drink since I got back. I missed the pub more than anything whilst in the house I’ll be honest sorry xx,” she posted on Instagram.
