Golf’s best and brightest will flock to Shinnecock Hills, New York, this week for the 126th US Open.
The majors have been dominated by European players this year, with Rory McIlroy winning The Masters for a second consecutive year and Aaron Rai finishing top of the pile at the PGA Championship.
McIlroy, Rai, Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Justin Rose will be among the players bidding to keep that run going but will face plenty of competition from US players, including Scottie Scheffler, and the rest of the world.
Elsewhere, Royal Liverpool and West Lancashire hosts the 131st Amateur Championship, while the ShopRite LPGA Classic is held at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont, Michigan.
Fans across the world will be excited to tune in for an inevitably explosive 2026 season, with all the big names and superstars of the game resting, recuperating and ready to roll across the finest fairways in the world once more.
