The singer is booked and busy less than a week after marrying the Celtic midfielder
Perrie Edwards is back to work less than a week after marrying Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Last week, the couple married in in a quaint ceremony after being in a relationship for nine years.
And it appears that Edwards has already taken to the stage once more, leaving little room for a honeymoon. The former Little Mix member was seen taking to the stage for the Isle of Wight Festival on Friday, June 19, just six days after wedding the Celtic midfielder.
The 32 year-old could be seen in a chic outfit, consisting of skin tight leather trousers and a graphic t-shirt accented by a mesh corset. Performing to a lively crowd, Edwards couldn’t help sharing how “obsessed” she is with being able to call Alex her husband.
Edwards released her debut solo album, titled Perrie, last September. Her latest single, Passenger Princess, dropped at the end of last month. With a new single to promote, Edwards has now been tasked with balancing work and marriage.

Last week, the pair headed to Portugal to tie the knot after a near four year engagement. The couple kicked things off with a classy pre-wedding party for their guests. Among the famous faces on the guest list include ex-Arsenal footballer Carl Jenkinson and Fulham’s Harrison Reed.
The ceremony took place in a quaint church in Quinta Do Lago after Perrie arrived in a chic white Mercedes convertible. Edwards chose to say “I do” in a lace sleeved gown paired with an elegant extra long veil. “I’ve always envisioned myself in lace,” Edwards previously told British Vogue.
Following this, the newly weds hosted their closest family and friends at the nearby Parrilla Natural restaurant, which serves up Uruguayan inspired dishes in one of the most scenic spots in the algarve. Edwards made a wardrobe switch to a glamorous crystal embellished dress, which she wore for their first dance.
The couple share two children together, Axel, 4, and daughter Alanis Valentine, born back in January. An insider told The Sun their son played a ‘special role’ in their big day, adding: “It was adorable to see. Perrie looked absolutely radiant and Alex didn’t stop smiling. It was a truly beautiful day.”
