Love Island star Charleen Murphy has said the unexpected couple is ‘end game’

ITV viewers were left stunned when Love Island stars Charleen Murphy and Mara Pirez were booted out of the show following a shock recoupling.
The Casa Amor bombshells were upgraded to the main villa after Charleen found romance with Kavan Murphy, and Mara sparked a connection with Simba Kudyiwa.
But the boys soon started regretting leaving their original partners for the Casa girls. The influencers were consequently dumped when Kavan chose to recouple with his ex Jasmine Muller, and Simba went crawling back to Angelista Gunda.
As the latest exit, Charleen has shared some juicy villa secrets, including the two couples who will go distance.
Speaking to ITV, she revealed: “I think Lorenzo and Julia are endgame. I love them together. I feel like Lorenzo has really come into his own with her.”
Fan favourite Lorenzo has bounced between several women in the villa, but he seems to have found his perfect match in bombshell Julia Majchrzak.
Charleen also confirmed that fan favourite duo Ellie Chadwick and Finley Maddock are the real deal.
“They’re both so genuine and approachable,” she explained. “I was basically third wheeling them half the time like a little handbag. They just belong together and I’d love to see both of those couples go the whole distance.”
She surprisingly didn’t mention Sean Fitzgerald and Lola Deal, who have been considered the front-runners since the start of the show. They were the first couple to go exclusive and declare their love for one another, but fans aren’t completely convinced by their love story.
Although she didn’t walk away with a partner, Charleen is glad she explored her connection with Kavan.
When asked about their brief relationship, the 27-year-old said: “I haven’t liked someone in a long time, so it was nice to be able to like somebody again and feel that spark.”
She added: “It was just one of those instant feelings when you look at someone and it’s there. I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt that, so it was really special for me.
“Even though it didn’t work out, I’d rather have tried and expressed my feelings than leave wondering. I was honest with how I felt and I’m glad I was. I don’t have any regrets. Maybe it didn’t end how I wanted it to, but that’s life.”
