The new video series explores how organisations are adapting to and leveraging AI. It features real-world cases such as The Atlantic’s partnership with OpenAI, Harvard Art Museums’ use of generative AI to boost visitor engagement, Metaphysic’s work on digital identity, and Mass General Brigham’s AI-powered documentation programme.

Host Brian Kenny, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Harvard Business School, guides each episode by asking faculty members to share their “cold call” – the opening question used to spark classroom discussion.

This approach mirrors the school’s signature case method, encouraging listeners to engage with the central challenges and lessons of each business case.

Cold Call has achieved 12 million lifetime downloads and consistently ranks among the top 50 management podcasts on Apple Podcasts.

Each episode features a Harvard Business School faculty member discussing a case they have written, often joined by the real-life protagonist, to unpack the business lessons and decisions involved.

The AI-focused video series includes discussions on The Atlantic’s collaboration with OpenAI, with Pulitzer-winning historian and professor Caroline Elkins, as well as Harvard Art Museums’ experiments with generative AI, Metaphysic’s approach to digital identity, and Mass General Brigham’s pilot of an AI-powered ambient documentation system.

New episodes of Cold Call are released every other Tuesday and are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and other major platforms.

The podcast is produced by Harvard Business School and distributed by Harvard Business Review.

Brian has led the school’s global marketing and communications, overseeing the Harvard Business School brand and public relations efforts worldwide.
