A Love Island couple is on the brink of collapse after this week’s Grafties
The Love Island villa is set to descend into chaos as one star storms off from a heated spat with his partner.
Last night (July 21) saw the return of The Grafties, a ceremony where the cast gather around and watch scenes of themselves from the last few weeks.
Each clip is presented in an awards-style category such as ‘Most Dramatic Performance’ and ‘Most Emotional Performance’. The winner of each category is voted by the public, and they must go up to the podium to share a short speech with their co-stars.
As you’d expect, the Islanders are still reeling from some of the revelations that came out of the awards ceremony last night.
Their explosive chats will be shown in upcoming scenes, where Priya and Aidan discuss Aidan’s recent U-turn about their relationship.
Looking for reassurance about where they stand, Priya says: “All the signs and inclinations you’ve given to me are that you are very, very into me. Don’t mug me off.”
Defending himself, Aidan explains: “I wanted to explore this, I didn’t know what was going on in my head.”
But Priya isn’t convinced, as she fires back: “You’re such a typical boy, you love female attention and you love pretty women… you’re not going to change.”
Aidan seemed committed to Priya just a few days ago, with the couple even sharing a night in the Hideaway. But he has confessed that he doesn’t feel a deep connection with her.
The OG Islander even complained to the boys about Priya “pouncing on him” every time they get into bed, instead of having deep conversations.
Addressing his bedroom comment, Priya then fumes: “I will not be spoken about like that,” before adding: “It makes a girl feel a certain type of way… it’s nasty.”
As emotions rise, Aidan gets up and storms off, saying: “That’s out of order,” whilst Priya stands her ground and hits back with: “You’re out of order.”
Viewers at home have been questioning just how much longer the couple will stay in the villa.
Many have voiced concerns for Priya’s time on the programme, with some predicting she will call it quits before next Monday’s (July 27) final.
Others have even recommended for the star to leave with her head held high. An X user posted: “Priya whole journey was a hard watch just go home girly #loveislanduk.”
Someone else agreed: “Priya, walk the f***k out. This is toooo much,” while a third said: “Priya should walk after this. Staying a few more days is not worth it.”
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm
