The MSI Codex R2 gaming PC is equipped with an Intel Core i5-14400F CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core i5-14400F CPU is a previous generation CPU with 10 total cores and a max turbo frequency of 4.7GHz. It’s a solid gaming chip when paired with a discrete graphics card. The 32GB of memory is a welcome bonus since RAM by itself commands an exorbitantly high price.
The GeForce RTX 5070 GPU is an excellent choice for 1080p or 1440p gaming
The GeForce RTX 5070 is the best Nvidia card for 1080p and 1440p gaming and by itself this card retails for $600 nowadays. It’s also powerful enough to run most games at 4K, although at that point you’ll see noticeable gains jumping up to a 5070 Ti.
