Final Fantasy’s Tifa Lockhart is coming to Street Fighter 6<\/a>.<\/p>\n No, I didn’t have it on my 2026 bingo card either, but Capcom unveiled Tifa as part of its Year 4 line-up over the weekend, confirming who’s coming in the Year 4 Character and Ultimate passes, which includes four additional characters \u2013 Yasmine, Arjun, Bosch, and Tifa \u2013 as well as additional outfit colours, costumes, and Drive Tickets, of course.<\/p>\n The reveal teaser is embedded below \u2013 check it out:<\/p>\n In news unlikely to surprise you, news of Tifa’s impending arrival has pretty much split the fandom. Some suggest the crossover will boost flagging interest in the game<\/a>, and could tempt Tifa fans who wouldn’t typically pick up a game like Street Fighter 6, while others are\u2026 well, less convinced.<\/p>\n Tekken fans \u2013 who’ve been pining for Tifa for some times \u2013 are particularly<\/a> not<\/a> impressed<\/a> by the news.<\/p>\n “[The] Tekken community begged for her and she came to Street Fighter. I’m actually surprised,” wrote<\/a> one. Another<\/a> said: “It feels like a pretty bad fumble, especially for a game that’s had its reputation going downhill for a while now. I think Clive is cool, but he honestly feels more like a SoulCalibur character, and Tifa would have fit in so well in Tekken.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Tifa strapped a rocket to SF6’s back,” insisted<\/a> someone else. “It’s going to take a long time for some people here to acknowledge the scale and generationality of the ‘L’ Tekken was just handed.
