In Resident Evil&#8217;s world, that usually only means one outcome. However, by the finale, he makes his way to the Umbrella Corporation lab as the company hunts for a cure to the zombie outbreak.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly for Bryan \u2013 and the Umbrella researchers \u2013 he doesn&#8217;t hold off long enough, eventually mutating into a twisted B.O.W. that will be all too familiar to fans of the game.<\/p>\n<aside data-component-name=\"Recirculation:ArticleRiver\" data-recirculation-type=\"inline\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Trending Bar\" data-nosnippet=\"\" class=\"clear-both pt-3 pb-4 mb-4 border-solid border-y border-neutral-300\">\n        <span class=\"font-article-heading block pb-3 text-base! font-bold uppercase sm:text-sm text-[#333]\"><br \/>\n            You may like<br \/>\n        <\/span><\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>In the original version of Resident Evil, Cregger (speaking to <a target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0EPwha5H-_c\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0EPwha5H-_c\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-article-category=\"entertainment\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\">Collider<\/a>) explained that Bryan&#8217;s humanity had <em>completely <\/em>gone by that point, with no semblance of the person he once was remaining amid a mass of tentacles and gooey eyes, despite Umbrella still trying to inject him with the cure.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of the missteps I made early on was not [showing Bryan&#8217;s desperation for a cure],&#8221; Cregger said. &#8220;We reorganized the chain of events.
