Emma Ogier<\/strong><\/a> has released a new single \u201cKeep You<\/strong><\/a>\u201d via Lost Highway Records. The track is an homage to Joni Mitchell\u2019s \u201cCoyote,\u201d using that song as a reference point for a contemporary story about desire, uncertainty and the push and pull between two people who do not fully state what they want.<\/p>\n \u201cKeep You\u201d follows several singles Ogier has released in 2026, including \u201cBelieving,\u201d \u201cBaby Don\u2019t Hurt Me\u201d and \u201cRocksteady\/HeavyMetal.\u201d She is also working on her debut album. Ogier began writing songs during the pandemic while she was a teenager in Houston. Her recent material has incorporated country, alternative and indie-pop elements.<\/p>\n Ogier also has a run of live dates ahead. She will support Whitney on select dates of the band\u2019s fall tour, which begins September 14 at The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is scheduled to perform at Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 3, then join Hovvdy for the first leg of their North American tour, including an October 20 show at Sid The Cat Auditorium in Los Angeles. Over the summer, she also performed with Bright Eyes during shows marking the 21st anniversaries of I\u2019m Wide Awake, It\u2019s Morning<\/i> and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn<\/i>.<\/p>\n In the week before the single\u2019s release, Ogier joined Dominic Fike onstage during his headline show at Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon, where they performed his song \u201cSmall Town.\u201d Fike later posted a video from the show titled \u201cThis is Emma Ogier,\u201d which includes Ogier performing \u201cBaby Don\u2019t Hurt Me.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
