PAVE Studios has announced a new Crime House original series, Read Between the Lines, set to launch in early 2027 and available in both video and audio formats.<\/p>\n
The weekly series will be hosted by Karen Read and Alan Jackson, focusing on real-world cases from local controversies to national headlines. <\/p>\n
Each episode reconstructs events, scrutinises investigations and prosecutions, and highlights overlooked or misunderstood evidence and decisions.<\/p>\n
Karen brings the perspective of a woman who has experienced being wrongly accused, while Alan draws on decades of experience as a trial lawyer. <\/p>\n
As Karen explained: \u201cAlan isn\u2019t simply analysing these cases from the sideline. As one of the country\u2019s most prominent trial attorneys, he\u2019s represented high-profile clients in some of the most closely watched and scrutinised legal battles, many of which turned out to be far different from how they first appeared.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alan\u2019s background provides insight into how legal cases are constructed, where they can falter, and the impact of media attention on proceedings. <\/p>\n
He commented: \u201cWhen the justice system falters, lives hang in the balance. Karen has a unique firsthand perspective of our system\u2019s imperfections, understanding what it means when a legal case becomes a media narrative and the public reaches a verdict long before a courtroom does.\u201d<\/p>\n
Read Between the Lines uses true crime, legal analysis, and investigative journalism to offer what PAVE Studios describes as an \u201cinside-out\u201d perspective. <\/p>\n

The announcement follows recent news that two other Crime House shows, Clues and Mother Knows Murder, will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu. <\/p>\n
All Crime House series, including Read Between the Lines, are accessible on YouTube and podcast platforms. The deal for the new series was brokered by UTA Creators, representing both hosts.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
