\n\tVariety<\/em>\u2018s \u201cActors on Actors<\/a>\u201d has received two Daytime Emmy nominations this year, both in the outstanding arts and popular culture program category.<\/p>\n \n\tThat includes a nod for series\u2019 spring 2025 run, which was geared toward the TV awards season and ran on PBS SoCal as \u201cVariety Studio: Actors on Actors<\/a>.\u201d The show then moved to CNN\u2019s streaming platform for its film-centric fall 2025 edition, \u201cVariety & CNN Actors on Actors,\u201d which received the other nomination.<\/p>\n \n\tAs Variety<\/em>\u2018s signature video series, \u201cActors on Actors\u201d pairs thesps for candid conversations about their recent projects and insights into the entertainment industry. This reps the fourth consecutive year \u201cActors on Actors\u201d has been nominated in the category (having also been nominated in 2023, 2024 and 2025), and the series\u2019 fifth and sixth Daytime Emmy nomination over all.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cActors on Actors\u201d previously won the Daytime Emmy in 2019, in the outstanding special class series category. This year, the series\u2019 two nominations will compete against \u201cBeyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood,\u201d an \u201cEntertainment Tonight\u201d special from CBS Media Ventures, as well as \u201cOff Script With the Hollywood Reporter\u201d (produced with IFC) and \u201cWorking in the Theatre\u201d from AmericanTheatreWing.org.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cActors on Actors\u201d first premiered in 2014.
