However, the Whitburn-born singer was seen to hold back tears as he admits that he &#8220;didn&#8217;t know if this would be possible&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Making his debut at the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, London, <a target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"LewisLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/lewis-capaldi\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">Lewis<\/a> played a number of his chart-topping tracks to more than 60,000 fans. Watching this real emotion was heartbreaking but at the same time very special as you put on an amazing show for all of us in the crowd.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">While another person expressed: &#8220;Go ahead and cry. You should be overwhelmed; it&#8217;s a phenomenal achievement. We&#8217;re crying with you.
