Kevin Feige “definitely has plans” to bring Miles Morales into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.<\/p>\n
\nThe MCU has heavily featured Tom Holland’s version of Peter Parker and his web-slinging alter ego, and now the Marvel Studios boss has admitted he’d love to have Miles Morales at his disposal.<\/p>\n
\nHe told China’s Watching Hollywood: \u201cThe good news is, Sony has the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse series, which are very popular and excellent, and Beyond the Spider-Verse is coming out next year.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut yes, we definitely have plans [for a live-action Miles], and I think a live-action Spider-Man movie has this destiny: to add Miles sometime after the Spider-Verse series ends.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSony Pictures’ animated Spider-Verse franchise will conclude with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse in 2027.<\/p>\n
\nShameik Moore will once again lend his voice to the character, having been part of 2018’s Into The Spider-Verse and 2023 sequel Across the Spider-Verse.<\/p>\n
\nAlthough he is yet to appear in the MCU, fans noticed a nod to Miles Morales in YEAR’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.<\/p>\n
\nIn one scene, referencing Holland’s version meeting predecessors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s respective Peter Parkers, Jamie Foxx’s Electro said: “Somewhere there\u2019s bound to be a Black Spider-Man.”<\/p>\n
\nFeige said: “Audiences around the world were thrilled because they knew it might be a hint at Spider-Man Miles.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe\u2019ve been thinking and discussing more Spider-Man adventures, regardless of agreements or contracts.<\/p>\n
\n“My production partner, Amy Pascal, is already working on it, and we\u2019ve had in-depth discussions about what the next two, three, four, and five Spider-Man movies might be about.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBack in 2023, Pascal confirmed there were already ideas for a live-action Miles Morales movie.<\/p>\n
\nAsked at the time about that and a potential Spider-Woman film, she told Variety: “You’ll see all of it.<\/p>\n
\n“It’s all happening.”<\/p>\n
\nLast month, Holland told how he wants to help set up the “next chapter” of Spider-Man, and he hopes his character can have a significant impact on the next generation in the way Downey Jr.’s Iron Man was a father figure to him.<\/p>\n
\nHe told Empire magazine: “For whoever’s next, whether that is a Miles Morales or a Spider-Gwen or a Spider-Woman or something like that, I would love to be a part of setting up the next chapter. Whatever that looks like, I don’t know.<\/p>\n
\n“But, if I could do what Downey did for me, then I would be so content swinging off into the sunset.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
