  • iHeartMedia released its Q4/25 financials. Podcasting was the strongest performer, with revenue up +24%, to $174mn – representing a record 15.4% of all company revenue.

  • Edison Research released the top 25 podcasts in the UK for Q4 2025. A new entry at number 16 is from a show celebrating its 75th year, from the village of Ambridge in Borsetshire.

  • Magellan AI has integrated DMA data from Nielsen into its attribution reporting. It will enable advertisers to measure podcast performance across all 210 Nielsen DMAs – using the same geographic standards applied to TV and radio.

  • The Podcast Show London has revealed the first fifty speakers at the event in May. Speakers include Persephonica’s Dino Sofos, founder of Goalhanger Gary Lineker, ABC Australia’s Head of Audio Jessica Radburn, Amplifi Media’s Steven Goldstein, and Sounds Proifitable’s Tom Webster.   • The Podcast Index tells us that only 55% of podcasts are in English – with Spanish (14%), Portuguese (5.7%), French (2.5%) and German (2.5%) comprising the top 5. Podpage now supports websites in languages other than English – including all the top five.

  • In Australia, podcast revenue is growing; but podcasting still has challenges in terms of measurement and evidence of effectiveness, according to data released by IAB Australia today.
