Katie Price refused to give her followers an update on her husband Lee Andrews on her podcast this week as she admits she now wants “quiet” from the ongoing drama. Lee is currently being held in custody in Al Awir prison in Dubai after claims that he had been ‘kidnapped’.
While Katie flew to Dubai last week to try and help Lee with his legal battles, she once again returned to the UK without her husband in tow. While the mum-of-five has said that Lee will be out of prison “soon”, he is reported to be facing a £140,000 release fee.
As many fans have followed Katie and Lee through their bizarre relationship, which have consisted of a quickie wedding, travels bans, and cosmetic surgery, quite a few were expecting the former glamour model to share more details of her recent trip to Dubai on her podcast after last week’s episode was cancelled.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Katie refused to talk about her husband. Speaking with her sister Sophie on their podcast The Katie Price Show, Katie said that they weren’t going to discuss the headlines of the week, admitting: “I’m done with it”.

She added: “The Lee stuff now has got so out of hand and I just need to be quiet from it.” While Sophie was seen to agree with the decision, she did slip in her own view of Katie and Lee’s relationship, branding the situation “nuts”.
She said: “I was thinking about this yesterday. I think you will look back in a few years and you’ll go ‘actually, I was maybe a bit of a kn*b back then and this whole situation was just nuts’.”
Katie added: “It has been nuts, but like I say there is so much stuff, I can’t even keep on top of everything myself. However, like I say I’m in good spirits. I’ve got a lot of good stuff coming up so the Lee and me situation I’m just going to keep to ourselves. It just needs to be like that.”
However, before Katie makes her relationship ‘private’, the sisters did announce that Katie will be releasing a bonus episode that will fill everyone in on all the “Lee stuff”. Katie is said to have filmed the episode with videographer Ben, most likely when she was in Dubai last week.
While travelling to court houses and prisons during her trip to the United Arab Emirates, Katie was also seen to meet up with Lee’ ex Dina Taji, who is reportedly set to appear in an episode of Katie’s podcast to lift the lid on who Lee really is.
In a social media clip teasing the episode, which has since been deleted, Katie was seen to say: “Women stick together and I came to Dina about one of the [legal] cases because I thought, ‘Is Dina involved?’ And then obviously we had a cup of tea, as girls do… we’ve had a long chat, and that’s for us to know, and for you to find out in the future.”
Dina is thought to have been with Lee for three years before they went their separate ways. In the video she said: “To be honest with you, I really didn’t care about responding to reporters and everyone that was messaging me, I mean, just out of respect.”
This bonus episode of the podcast is unlikely to have Sophie in it as she has shown her dislike for Lee in previous episodes of their show.
After routinely refusing to make comments on Lee to avoid arguments, Sophie was seen to give her most emotional response after it was announced that Lee had not actually been kidnapped, but was instead being held in jail.
While Katie suggested in the episode that Lee should come on the podcast to speak to the viewers and share this story, Sophie quickly snapped saying: “No, no, no!” She then added: “If you want to do a separate chat with him, that’s down to you.”
Sources have also claimed that many members of Katie’s family and friends have told her to leave Lee as they are worried that he will “destroy her and finish her career”.
