Jake Hall’s loved ones, including his devastated The Only Way Is Essex co-stars and friends, have gathered to say goodbye to the reality star today at his funeral.
Jake tragically died earlier this year at the age of 35. He sadly lost his life after crashing through a glass door in what appeared to be a devastating accident in Majorca. He shared eight-year-old daughter River with his ex Misse Beqiri, who paid a devastating tribute to her former partner, describing him as an incredible dad and saying her “daughter’s heart was shattered”.
Misse was seen arriving at the funeral today, while his ex Chloe Lewis was also among the mourners. Jake’s coffin was seen being carried into the church, adorned with white flowers. His friends helped him on his final journey, with over eight of his loved ones carrying the coffin. That included Coronation Street and good friend Ryan Thomas, as well as Umar Kamani, the CEO of Pretty Little Thing.
The order of service features a picture of Jake on the front, and reads: “In loving memory of Jake Hall 1990-2026”. They are held together with pieces of red twine, and a screen has been set up outside for those outside the church.
Jake’s friends and family have gathered to pay tribute to him. Chloe, Jake’s former girlfriend, who dated him on and off for a decade until 2016, was seen arriving, dressed in all-black with sunglasses on.
James ‘Arg’ Argent was also seen at the funeral, held at St Mary the Virgin, in Wanstead, London, as was David Beckham’s mum and sister, Sandra and Joanne Beckham, boxer Derek Chisora and Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell. TOWIE stars Tommy Mallet, Georgia Kousoulou and Lydia Bright were also among the mourners.
Jake tragically died in Majorca in May aged 35. Police were called to an address in Santa Margalida, in the north of Majorca at 7:30am local time. A source said: “Witnesses have told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting.”
Sadly, Jake was found in a pool of blood with head wounds, caused by shards of glass. It’s claimed that he had been out partying and decided to carry on the night at his rented property.
At the time of his death, details had emerged about the night of his passing. Police had been told that Jake may have been agitated in the hours leading up to his death and neighbours head “loud noises” coming from the property.
A neighbour of the property reported hearing a group of people talking in the hours before Jake’s death but they “hadn’t been causing problems,” and seemed “relatively normal”.
“I began to hear a very loud noise, as if they were drilling something. I felt the walls vibrate. They stopped after about five minutes, and then I fell asleep,” they said. Another neighbour stated they hadn’t heard anything out of the ordinary.”
Jake’s ex – and the mother of his eight-year-old daughter River – Misse Beqiri paid a heartbreaking tribute to the reality star in the wake of his passing.
She wrote: “I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s.
“You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit. You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once.”
