Molly-Mae Hague has revealed unseen pictures taken moments after she and Tommy Fury welcomed their newborn son into the world, as she shared details of the ‘incredible’ birth
Molly-Mae Hague has given fans a look into her baby son’s “incredible” birth. The former Love Island star and professional boxer Tommy Fury, both 27, welcomed their son last week after leaving the gender of their baby a secret throughout her pregnancy.
Days before Tommy is rumoured to be set to reveal the name of their little one at his fight against Eddie Hall this weekend, Molly-Mae has taken to Instagram to share a string of photographs from the birth, including a snap of her cuddling her newborn shortly after he was delivered.
The star, who is also mum to daughter Bambi, three, is seen cradling their son inside their lavish room at The Portland Hospital, famous for its exclusive clientele, including royalty. The private hospital offers high-end ‘birthing packages’ featuring lobster and champagne on its 24-hour room service menus, priced from £30,000.
There are 36 private rooms in total, ranging from standard to suites with en-suites and lounge areas. It has been reported that some of these more luxurious suites have been reserved by royalty for the cool sum of £2,000 per night.
In another sweet snap, she and Tommy both cradled their son as the proud dad flashed a huge smile as they sat on the edge of Molly-Mae’s hospital bed. One image also saw Molly bouncing on a birthing ball and another showed her sitting in a wheelchair as she held her son in her arms, not long after his birth, wrapped in a blue and yellow blanket and a blue knitted hat.
Captioning her post, Molly penned: “I don’t think I’ll ever get over this day… The most incredible birth I could have asked for,” alongside a crying emoji and a white heart.
Her post has been flooded with sweet messages. One person wrote: “Who looks this good during and after birth please.” Another added: “You literally look like you’re at the spa perfect hair perfect gorgeous face and omg little baby we love you lots!”
“Beautiful! This is so special,” said a third. While a fourth commented: “Sorry why do you look so good post birth?” “You are glowing, made to be a mummy,” said another.
Earlier this week, Molly told her fans how the aftermath of welcoming her son was completely different to that of Bambi’s. She said: “Thank you for healing so many of my newborn fears little one. The peace and happiness I feel this time around is something I wished for but didn’t know would come. The difference compared to this stage with Bambi is indescribable”.
Speaking to the Mirror about their new arrival and Bambi’s reaction, Tommy said: “Bambi’s coped well, she’s coped really well,” he said. “She just wants to hold him all the time and be with him. She’s the best big sister in the world. It’s been honestly great; I just can’t wait to be back there every day and just be with them every minute of the day.”
But while he’s away from his home ahead of his boxing fight, the brother of former heavyweight world champion Tyson insists he can’t wait to start changing nappies when his fight is over.
“It’s been a huge week for me and it can’t be described anything other as a huge blessing,” he added. “I’ve had a smile on my on my face all week. Everything’s gone smoothly; Molly’s happy, everyone’s happy. So it’s just about getting on to fight night, getting that done, and enjoying the summer with the family.
“That’s what’s on my calendar for the foreseeable. It’s been the best week that you could ever ask for. A beautiful baby boy, and a main event on Saturday night in my hometown. It’s full steam ahead now.”
