If the recent June Nintendo Direct got you excited to add more games to your Nintendo Switch 2’s library, but you’re thinking you might need some more storage space, we have good news. We’ve spotted a couple of big discounts on a 256GB Samsung P9 Express microSD Express Card and a 512GB SanDisk GamePLAY microSD Express Card from Amazon and Walmart, respectively, so you can upgrade for a little less.
The 256GB Samsung P9 Express microSD Express Card has had quite the price drop at Amazon of 40%. This has brought its price down from $79.99 to $47.99, which is a pretty solid amount of savings equating to $32. If you’re thinking you don’t need a ton of extra storage space for the games you have in mind, this 256GB card is well worth a look, especially at this price.

The bigger 512GB SanDisk GamePLAY microSD card has dropped all the way down to $98 at Walmart, though it’s worth noting your mileage may vary on this one. It seems to be going in and out of stock at the retailer, so if you’re lucky, hopefully you can grab the deal while it’s still available.
No matter which option you go with, these microSD express cards will certainly be helpful in expanding your library. Which is good news, as there’s quite a lot of Switch 2 games to look forward to, from Splatoon Raiders to Star Fox to the exciting The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake that’s coming later this year.
