The Scots TV Chef has announced he is ‘giving back’ to Scotland fans this weekend ahead of their World Cup opener tonight
Gordon Ramsay has revealed he is ‘giving back’ to Scotland fans this weekend as he is offering the Tartan Army free food at his Boston based restaurant. However, there is one major condition to his offer and that is that fans must be wearing a kilt.
Taking to Instagram, Ramsay revealed that ahead of Scotland’s World Cup opener at Boston Stadium against Haiti tonight, Scotland fans can enjoy free wings at his Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant in Boston when they order a burger.
In a clip of the Scots TV chef donning a Scotland top, he explains: “Hey guys, it’s Gordon. Now listen there’s a lot of excitement building up ahead of Scotland V Haiti but here’s how I’m going to give a little bit back.
“If you’re in Boston anywhere near Gordon Ramsay burger, wings are on me okay. Six wings are on me when you buy a burger, providing one thing.
“The legs are out and you’re wearing a beautiful kilt. Mon! Good luck guys.”
Fans in the comments were quick to point out Gordon’s conditions as one joked: “The businessman came out very quickly there Gordon. Wings are on me… Erm…Six wings. When you buy a burger.”
A second added: “He didn’t become a millionaire by accident. Good Scottish business acumen.”
It comes as the 59-year-old was spotted at Scotland’s final training session ahead of their match against Haiti tonight at Boston Stadium.
Chef Ramsay was seen on the sidelines as head coach Steve Clarke watched over his team at the Revolution Training Centre in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
After meeting with the players, Johnstone born Ramsay was presented with a Scotland top with ‘Ramsay 26’ on the back from captain Andy Robertson.

He was later seen sporting the shirt while standing on the sidelines of the pitch in a pair of sunglasses.
A Scottish FA video also showed him in the gym chatting to players Anthony Ralston, Scott McTominay and Che Adams.
Ramsay is known to be a keen football fan and he moved back to Scotland as a teen to pursue his sporting dreams when he signed with Rangers on their youth team.
He played a number of non-competitive matches for the club but his career was sadly short lived after he suffered a knee injury before he went on to find his true passion for cooking.
Ramsay is among a number of famous Scots who have flocked to North America to support Scotland in their first World Cup for 28 years.
First Minister John Swinney and actors Richard Gadd, Gerard Butler and Martin Compston have all been spotted in Boston.
The politician and celebs were welcomed by a piper after arriving at a Scottish Night in Boston Dinner and Gala Event at the Royale in the US city.
Butler wore a kilt and football shirt and gave a thumbs up as he arrived at the event held in aid of Street Soccer Scotland.
