Taylor Frankie Paul says she’s become “emotionally numb” amid her legal battle with ex Dakota Mortensen.
She took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday (June 12) to share an update on how things have been going for her lately, writing, “Tbh I’ve gone emotionally numb.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was responding to a fan who said, “I’m going through your exact situation I wish I could talk more on it! I’m so stuck.”
“I don’t know what to say anymore other than I’m right there with a lot of you,” Taylor continued. “Wish I could be more helpful. Not sure when the nervous system switched… I can’t even cry lately which is very unlike me.”
“There is emotional overwhelm or numbness, both are coping mechanisms,” she concluded.
The domestic violence investigation against Taylor led to the Hulu show pausing production, but it started back up again in late May. Season 5 will allegedly now only include the five episodes that were filmed before the pause.
Before that, Taylor shared a candid post on Instagram to provide an update on her ongoing custody battle with Dakota.
“It’s so sad because nobody wants to be like this. I hate that I am no longer myself. I hate that I stayed for so long,” she wrote. Read her entire statement here.
