The new Love Island bombshell comes from a famous family that ITV2 viewers will instantly recognise
Four new bombshells are heading into the Love Island villa and one of them has very famous parents.
Late arrivals Halle, Chidi, Tina and Finley are set to ruffle feathers in tonight’s (June 17) episode. The ‘Fantastic Four’ have already made a bold move by inviting their four favourite Islanders from the main villa to a private sleepover.
While the ITV series traditionally casts regular people, this season has already welcomed a few Islanders with celebrity links. Fan favourite Mica Harris’ aunt just happens to be Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley, while Jasmine Muller previously dated ex Arsenal player Hector Bellerin.
But newcomer Halle Brown’s family history might be even more interesting then her co-stars. The 23-year-old dancer is the daughter of Manchester United legend Wes Brown and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Leanne Brown.
The footballer began his Manchester Utd career at just 12 years old and went on to win 13 trophies with the club. He also enjoyed stints on the Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers teams.
Wes married ex wife Leanne in 2009, but they sadly divorced in 2022 after a total of 25 years together. They share daughters Halle, Lilia and Lola together.
Reality TV fans will instantly recognise former WAG Leanne from Real Housewives of Cheshire. She is also a public speaker and author with over 65,000 followers on Instagram.
Just three years before their divorce, Halle publicly celebrated her parents’ 10-year wedding anniversary with a sweet Instagram post.
Sharing a loved-up snap from their younger years, she wrote: “Happy 10th anniversary to the best, coolest, MOST amazing and more parents in the world!!! I love you both so much from your 3 daughters!”
As she follows in her mother’s reality TV footsteps, Halle is hoping to find a “charismatic, muscly and loyal” partner.
She will be dating fellow bombshells Simba Kudyiwa and Kavan Murphy first, before exploring her options in the main villa.
Ahead of her debut, the Cheshire star has insisted she’s not willing to be anyone’s second option. Halle told ITV: “As much as I need to go and get what I want, if the boy is feeling someone else and not showing me any expression, I’m never going to keep going and going because that’s not who I am as a person. At the end of the day I don’t want to be a second option or to beg for you.”
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm
