Dua Lipa has delighted fans by sharing intimate photographs from her stunning wedding to Callum Turner. The 30-year-old pop star married the 36-year-old actor in front of friends, family and loved ones in Sicily, Italy, earlier this month, across three day of celebrations.
Bride Dua dazzled she posed for loved-up photos alongside her new husband as they cemented their marriage at the historic Villa Valguarnera on 6 June. A week before their Italian nuptials, the couple had said “I do” for the first time at Marylebone Town Hall in London, in front of a small group of friends and family.
The singer has now shared stunning pictures from their big day as the newlyweds are seen embracing, wrapped in her veil, celebrating with friends and dancing together in a post on Instagram captioned: “Mr and Mrs”.
Dua chose a sensational ivory gown from Chanel to walk down the aisle in, while Callum looked dapper in a Louis Vuitton suit at the wedding, which is reported to have cost an estimated £1.5 million.
Both husband and wife looked smitten as they posed for the gorgeous photographs, taken by celebrated fashion photographer David Sims. The couple are seen gazing in each others eyes as they posed beneath Dua’s veil, while a striking black and white image showed the pair posing in front of the huge villa, with the train of Dua’s gown flowing out behind her.
Her bejewelled, sleeveless and backless gown was coated in white feathers – adding an extravagant texture to the haute couture gown.
Many famous faces commented with messages of congratulations as Katy Perry wrote: “sweetie babies” along with a red heart emoji, while Justin Timberlake said: “Congrats, you 2!!!!”
Pop singer Charli XCX and fashion icon Donatella Versace were among the 200 guests at the wedding, while Elton John performed. Guests were given special souvenir handkerchiefs that had been embroidered with the phrase: “Stay mad with me forever”, while there was also a 10-minute firework display at around 11.30pm.
Following their wedding celebrations, Dua and Callum were seen enjoying a luxury honeymoon at a £3,400-a-night hotel in Sicily – reportedly the San Domenico Palace hotel in Taormina, which is the iconic setting for the second series of HBO show The White Lotus.
Loved-up Dua and Callum met in early 2024 and Callum has recalled how he and the singer had an immediate connection when they crossed paths for the first time in Los Angeles.
The Fantastic Beasts actor said: “We sat next to each other and realised we were reading the same book, which is crazy. It’s called Trust (by Hernan Diaz) and I had just finished the first chapter and I told her and she looked at me and said, ‘I just finished the first chapter too.’ I said, ‘So we’re on the same page.’
“In the movie version of it I look up to the sky and I’m like, I hear you. I understand. The signs are loud, don’t worry. And that was really the first (moment).”
He also recently gushed that he is “inspired” by his new wife as he opened up about how they try and fit their busy schedules around one another so they can be together “as much as possible”.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “You want to be inspired by the person you’re with. We make sure that we’re together as much as possible.”
