When it comes to cereal, Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut is one of the most popular options in the UK, regularly being hailed as ‘the best cereal’.
It’s a breakfast staple, beloved by many for its sweet and nutty flavour, combining honey and roasted, chopped peanuts.
But the iconic product has just had a makeover, as Kellogg’s has launched a new twist on it.
And the flavour will likely divide diehard fans of the OG, as it’s very different.
The cereal giant has just quietly released a brand new cereal, known as Crunchy Nut Crunchies Caramelised Biscuit, in supermarkets.

Boxes of the Biscoff-inspired cereal have been spotted on shelves in Iceland stores and The Food Warehouse across the UK, and shoppers are intrigued.
Some weren’t so sure, pointing out that the new product looks nothing like classic Crunchy Nut and therefore should be a ‘completely different cereal’, but others are desperate to try it.
On Instagram, in response to a post by @johns_snack reviews, fellow foodie blogger @another_snack_reviewer said: ‘Ohhh hell yeah. Please be good.’
While @annawilson1188 shared: ‘Wow, can not wait.’
Similarly, @mary_dorothea admitted they were ‘right up [her] street’, while @cwhite93x commented: ‘Hope we get these in Ireland.’
This comes after Kellogg’s previously released a Hot Honey version of the cereal in January.
Kellogg’s says it was inspired to create the quirky new product because of the ‘swicy’ (sweet and spicy) trend that’s been doing the rounds online for a while.

A spokesperson for the brand explained at the time: ‘This is cereal as you’ve never seen before. Think golden honey-coated curls with a whisper of chilli warmth.
‘It’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s everything your breakfast bowl didn’t know it needed.’
The boxes were only available for a limited time, although some are still listed for sale on the Iceland website, for £3.50 a box.
How long the new Caramelised Biscuit cereal will be on the shelves for is unknown, but it will likely depend on how popular it proves.

In other foodie news, M&S just brought back its viral strawberry sandwich and introduced another version of it, containing chocolate and pistachio too.
If that weren’t enough, the retailer also dropped a few new dips, with a strawberry and cream one, and a chocolate pistachio flavour.
And snack giant, KP Crisps, confirmed that it would be discontinuing its four best crisp flavours after 50 years on sale.
The four flavours being axed are Salted, Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, and Beef.
Speaking about the discontinuation, a KP Snacks spokesperson told Metro: ‘We have made the decision to discontinue KP Crisps Salted, Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar and Beef as we focus on our wider portfolio.
‘We understand these products have a loyal following and thank consumers for their continued support of our brands.’
