Amanda Holden and husband Chris Hughes put on a loved-up display as they kissed in the stands on day one of Wimbledon, alongside a host of other stars who enjoyed the first day of the tennis tournament
Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes were seen looking very loved-up as they shared a kiss in the stands at Wimbledon.
Amanda, 55, was one of the many stars at day one of the prestigious tennis tournament and shared a passionate moment with her husband as they took in the action on Centre Court. The couple have been married for 18 years and share two daughters, Alexa, 20, and Hollie, 14.
Sharing snaps from her day out at SW19, Amanda also was seen enjoying Champagne in the evian Mountain of Youth VIP suite, alongside pal Chris Appleton, who has recently been confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing.
The BGT judge, looking stylish in a pinstripe two-piece with black sunglasses and her hair in an up-do, held up a glass of fizz to the camera, while Chris, who wore a navy doubled-breasted blazer and tie, enjoyed a glass of Pimms – a Wimbledon tradition.
Amanda wrote on Instagram: “So privileged to be at @wimbledon on the first day. Beautifully hosted by @evianwater !! What a great 1st match on #centrecourt. Wearing @ralphlauren.”
Other famous faces at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club for the opening day of the competition were Sir David Beckham, 51, who was joined by his mum Sandra in the Royal Box.
David’s appearance came just two days after he was spotted watching England take on Panama at the World Cup, which is currently being held in the US, Canada and Mexico.
David is often joined by his mum at Wimbledon and sharing snaps of them together, he wrote: “Another special day with Mum at Wimbledon, always one of my most favourite days of the year. Thank you @wimbledon for always making it perfect @sandra_beckham49.”
Dad of four David, 51, also shared a picture of Sandra with Novak Djokovic, who had changed into a white polo shirt and blazer, and said he’d ‘never seen her so happy’.
Former Love Island star Maura Higgins made sure all eyes were on her in a very on-theme outfit of a short white dress, stilettos with tennis ball detailing on the heels, and a tennis ball-themed bag.
Meanwhile, former Strictly host Tess Daly – who was still wearing her wedding ring despite her split from Vernon Kay – former Great British Bake Off judge Dame Mary Berry, Katherine Jenkins, Ashley James and Romeo Beckham were also among the celebrities at the first day of Wimbledon.
