Courteeners have released their new single “Plus One Forever,” taken from their forthcoming Best Of compilation, God Bless The Band, out August 28, 2026, via Ignition Music.
The track is the second new song to be taken from the collection, following the recent release of “The Luckiest Man Alive.” “Plus One Forever” was produced by Courteeners frontman Liam Fray and James Skelly of The Coral.
An intimate, uncertain love song, “Plus One Forever” carries the lyrical melancholy and big melodic sweep that have long helped define Courteeners’ strongest moments.
God Bless The Band celebrates two decades of Courteeners and features tracks from across the band’s seven studio albums: St. Jude, Falcon, Anna, Concrete Love, Mapping the Rendezvous, More. Again. Forever. and Pink Cactus Café.
The compilation includes fan favourites including “Not Nineteen Forever,” “Are You In Love With A Notion?,” “Modern Love,” “The 17th” and “Hanging Off Your Cloud.”
Since releasing St. Jude in 2008, Courteeners have become one of Britain’s biggest live bands, with more than one million UK album sales and four consecutive Top 5 albums. St. Jude also reached Number 1 in the UK Albums Chart 15 years after its original release.
God Bless The Band will be available on heavyweight black 2LP, retail-exclusive clear 2LP and CD. Deluxe formats featuring an additional 11 tracks will be available exclusively through Courteeners’ official store, including a limited-edition super deluxe box set, 3LP vinyl and 2CD.
The band will celebrate the release with a sold-out homecoming show at Wythenshawe Park, Manchester, followed by a UK arena tour in November.
