Sometimes – when my wits have deserted me, once and for all – I like to imagine how Erling Haaland picks his outfits. The guy’s got good taste, we know this. Maybe it starts with the base: a team tracksuit. Classic, expected, comfortable for flying. Then let’s add some kicks – the Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low will do. A little Man City blue. Oh, and for accessories? Let’s add sunnies, a Dolce & Gabbana tote and let’ssss seeee. Yeah! My taxidermied raccoon, drinking from a whiskey bottle.
I imagine it goes a little like that. Happy to be proven wrong!

Haaland landed back into Oslo this morning, fresh off Norway’s defeat to England, and he had all of those things on. Now, people will want to spend all the airtime talking about his raccoon. I get it: he’s a star! Specifically, he is the ‘Whiskey Raccoon’ from Wild Bill’s, a store in Texas that Haaland presumably hit up while he was in town slotting a beauty against the Ivory Coast in the 86th minute. The same style, will set you back approximately $750 USD – or £560.
It’s not often a Dolce & Gabbana bag plays second fiddle. But in this case, I’m sure they won’t mind. The unsung hero of his fit is the tote bag, which serves as a roomy and surprisingly complementary accessory to his new mate. The bag isn’t available for purchase because it’s fresh off the runway. The ecru canvas and burgundy alligator tote was in the Italian brand’s spring/summer ’27 show which just happened in Milan a few weeks ago. On the model, the brand styled it with a knit polo, burgundy pinstripe trousers and a matching blazer in the hand. Haaland’s styling was slightly more… what’s the word? Furry?
