A Love Island couple has been hit with a brutal blow as fans share their true feelings about the duo ahead of the final.
OG boy Lorenzo Alessi has been a fan favourite since the first week of Season 13, but fans aren’t convinced he should take home the £50k prize.
The business owner is currently coupled up with Casa Amor bombshell Julia Majchrzak, who has been at the centre of drama since entering the main villa.
Julia initially had a feud with ex-Islander Lola Deal, after Lola discovered she had been flirting with her partner during Casa. She has since settled in with the rest of the Islanders, but she still isn’t afraid to voice her strong opinions.
Just last night (July 21), the 26-year-old revealed she believes long-term friends Aidan Murphy and Priya Jaswal are only a couple because they think they can make it into the final together.
Viewers agree with her verdict, with many claiming she is their favourite girl in the villa. While Julia and Lorenzo are both popular, fans think they shouldn’t win the show because they aren’t a strong couple.
Reddit users recently started a poll voting for this year’s winners, which has already received over 1,900 responses.
Lorenzo and Julia are currently in second place, with just over 600 votes. Although the poll places them in the top three, the comments’ section has erupted with fans furious over people voting for the duo.
One fan questioned: “Those who voted for Lorenzo and Julia…. what made y’all choose them? Do y’all genuinely see them as being in love or as a strong couple? I’m genuinely curious.”
Another agreed: “I have the same question. I’m a bit behind bc I live in the USA so I’m like I must be missing something.”
Meanwhile, others didn’t mince their words. “With all due respect are the people voting lorenzo and Julia okay? He literally even said this episode he’s FAR from serious unlike the others when chatting with Aiden and Samraj.
“Them plus Aiden and Priya are the weakest couples. It doesn’t feel fair for them to win when other couples are in love and have genuinely had a journey,” said another viewer.
An X user also shared their brutal verdict, stating: “If the UK chooses Lorenzo and Julia to win .. please end the whole show. #loveislandUK.”
While a second said: “Lorenzo and Julia do not even deserve top two. Top two should be Angie and Simba and Yas and Tommy.”
But some viewers have defended the couple, claiming they are the most realistic pair in the villa.
One fan argued: “I think Lorenzo and Julia come across a lot more authentic than couples saying I love you just days before the finale. A lot of people obviously agree. Plus literally no couple in there is lasting more than a few months lol.”
And another added: “This episode pretty much just confirmed Julia & Lorenzo win,” and a third said: “Lorenzo & Julia brought the most entertainment.”
