With nearly two million followers, Rae is recognised for her detailed exploration of disturbing stories, and this new project sees her adopt a darker identity while maintaining her signature style.

Each episode of Come Closer features Rae as a guide through some of history’s most unsettling cases, focusing on the uncomfortable truths that often remain hidden.

The podcast will draw listeners into the depths of true crime, encouraging them to examine the details others might avoid.

This launch is not just a rebranding of Rae’s previous work but an evolution of her entire presence in the true crime space.

In collaboration with independent podcast network Mercury, Rae is synchronising all her channels to deliver a unified and more impactful true crime experience.

Mercury is handling distribution and sales for Rae across podcast platforms, social media, and YouTube.

The network says it has worked closely with Rae throughout the year to ensure that Come Closer stands out in a crowded market.

Episode one is now available on all major podcast players. Listeners can also access all previous episodes of Rae’s earlier podcast, Dark Stories, on the same feed.

Liam Heffernan, founder and CEO of Mercury, commented on the collaboration: “We have loved working with Rae on bringing her bold idea to life.

“This is an evolution, not just of Rae’s brand, but of the entire true crime genre. Come Closer is dark and immersive but it has a strong moral compass as its core. It’s a one-of-a-kind show and we’re about to change the game!”
