Drew, known for her sharp wit and candid style, is joined each week by a special guest to discuss pop culture and the comedy of life online and offline.

The podcast, which began in 2021 on Brat TV’s Past Your Bedtime YouTube channel, later became a Spotify exclusive in April 2023.

During this period, it featured high-profile guests such as Chappell Roan, Caleb Hearon, Cynthia Erivo, Megan Stalter, Trixie Mattel, Brittany Broski, Bretman Rock, Meghan Trainor, and Jinkx Monsoon.

Yishai Seidman, Director of Development at Acast, commented on the move: “Drew is one of the sharpest, most original voices in the creator space today.

“The Comment Section is a show built on the kind of trust, authenticity, and genuine connection that we know audiences crave more than ever.

“That kind of narrative influence is incredibly valuable for advertisers too, and joining Acast is a perfect partnership for the show.”

Drew said: “It’s been my pride and joy hosting The Comment Section over the last five years as the show has grown and evolved into such an incredible forum to have a ki and chat with some of my favourite people.

“I’m so excited to partner with Acast for our next era and bring all the fun to so many more people on YouTube!”

Drew’s influence extends beyond podcasting, with 8.1 million followers on TikTok and 1.4 million on Instagram.

In 2024, she became the first Samoan woman to appear on the New York Times bestseller list with her book Loud: Accept Nothing Less than the Life You Deserve.

She was also a red carpet correspondent at major award shows, with her 2026 awards season coverage earning over 56.7 million views across Instagram and TikTok.

Both The Comment Section and her co-hosted podcast Two Idiot Girls were nominated at the 15th Annual Shorty Awards in the Comedy Podcast category.
