Podcast advertising agency, ADOPTER Media, has issued a positive response to the Amp Accords proposals.

The company, which has been buying host-read campaigns for direct response brands for over a decade, was given an early look at the Accords before it was released yesterday, and asked to comment.

ADOPTER has identified nine things it thinks are missing, including where the framework runs into trouble with the closed platforms.

Glenn Rubenstein, founder and CEO of ADOPTER Media, said: “The AMP task force deserves credit. Getting twelve people from competing corners of the industry to keep talking for a year and finish with three ratified proposals is much harder than it sounds.

“We support the AMP Accords as an excellent first step, and we’re prepared to participate in the next steps, wherever we can be useful.

“We also see additional opportunities to better crystallise addressable audience while protecting listener privacy.”

The full response, including nine suggestions for the framework, can be found at adopter.media/amp-accords.
