Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has shared a big wedding update, months after announcing that she and her partner, footballer Ryan Ledson, were engaged
Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has offered a major update with her partner, months after they revealed their engagement news.
Lucy, who is known for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, got engaged to footballer Ryan Ledson last November amid her 30th birthday celebrations. And now, the soap star has taken to social media with a big update. She shared a photo of herself and Ryan to her Instagram Story and gushed: “These two chikas have booked their wedding!!!!!! @ryanledson8.”
It comes after Lucy was seen getting into the planning of her and Ryan’s big day back in April, as she shared a video to Instagram showing the moment she asked her best friend to be her Maid of Honour.
Lucy shared clips of the pair as youngsters, documenting the length of their special friendship, before she could be seen presenting her with a box that asked the big question, along with treats.
Alongside the emotional post, which was set to a remix of the ABBA track, Slipping Through My Fingers, Lucy wrote: “We have been with each other through every chapter and I can’t wait for you to be my maid of honour @livgregs.”
Lucy and Ryan share two young children – son Sonny and daughter Nancy. Ryan popped the question in November last year, when Lucy took to Instagram with a string of photos showing off her sparkling engagement ring.
In the first, she and Ryan posed for a selfie as she held her hand up to the camera, with the he bride-to-be appearing emotional as her eyes filled with tears.
Another photo showed Lucy sitting in a restaurant, in which she could be seen holding up her glass with her gorgeous engagement ring dazzling on her wedding finger. Alongside the post, the soap star wrote: “Ending the birthday weekend with my best friend as a fiancé!!!! I can’t wait to marry you @ryanledson8.”
The pair went public with their relationship in June 2021 after their romance blossomed in lockdown after they got talking on the celebrity dating app, Raya.
The pair welcomed son Sonny in 2023, followed by daughter, Nancy, in 2025. Earlier this year, the actress opened up to us about parenthood, how she and Ryan juggle their busy work schedules with home life and revealing that she and the footballer didn’t have any plans to expand their brood.
