Big Walk reviewed by Nicole Carpenter on PC, also available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
“Big Walk is full of beautiful emergent moments as you find solutions to cleverly built puzzles and adventure between them in its vast open world. Falling down a mountain at night and scrambling to find your dropped gear, finding your friends from a flare in the distance, or developing the language to both name things in its world and build a process to figure out its most complex puzzles is all part of the magic that makes Big Walk unlike any other co-op game. The myriad ways it pushes you and your friends, placing limitations that test your problem solving in ways as challenging as they are charming – that’s what defines this experience. But that intrinsic reward of freeing the next red bean to put it in its place atop the next big bean tower is just as special.”
