Coleen Nolan has confirmed her romance with her new man, university lecturer Ryan Brockbank, with whom she grew close after her unsuccessful stint on Celebs Go Dating
Coleen Nolan has confirmed her new romance with a loved-up snap. The 61 year old Loose Women star went Instagram official with her new man, Ryan Brockbank, who is believed to be in his 40s, on Tuesday 11 August as she shared a picture of the pair beaming for the camera.
Coleen’s new boyfriend Ryan is seen leaning into the star in the picture, which she simply captioned with Ryan’s initial, R, alongside a red heart emoji.
The star is dating fashion lecturer Ryan following her stint on Celebs Go Dating. The pair have reportedly been dating over the last few months, with things said to be heating up between the two.
And after pictures emerged of the new couple together, singer and TV star Coleen has now shared her first social media post with Ryan. Sweet messages soon flooded her upload as The Nolan’s official Instagram gushed: “Got the Chemistry right.”
Coleen’s sister Anne Nolan wrote: “Lovely photo xx”, while Maureen Nolan commented: “What a handsome couple xxx.” Coleen’s daughter, Ciara Fensome added: “Ryaaaaannn” and Celebs Go Dating agent Anna Williamson said: “There she is my Queen Coleen. You deserve it all.”
Fans also loved seeing Coleen all loved-up, as one follower wrote: “New partner x congratulations Col very happy for you! Ya deserve it x”, while another said: “So happy for you.”
One social media user wrote: “Maybe could have waited a while longer before going public.. unless of course she’s been in this relationship for longer than a few months..”, to which Coleen hit back: “Exactly that…
Of Coleen’s romance with Fashion Retail Academy professor Ryan, an insider claimed: “Coleen is pretty smitten with Ryan. She talks about him all the time – her kids know about him and things are moving pretty fast.
They added to The Sun: “He’s very creative and a dad himself, so they have lots in common. She learnt about herself and dating when she did Celebs Go Dating and has really applied it to the real world.”
Speaking previously to the Mirror about dating in her 60s, Coleen revealed that she’d been inundated with interest from younger men. “It’s a minefield. A lot of the attention I get is from younger men sliding into my Instagram DMs, and I think, ‘Why? What could you possibly want with me?’ My rule is, I don’t want to date anyone I could have given birth to.
“Some of them act really old, like, ‘We’re too old for that now.’ The minute someone says that, I’m out. I’m 61, but mentally I’m about 35. I want someone who still wants to live, laugh and do things.”
