Big Brother presenter Will Best has shared fresh details about the anticipated ‘new house every week’ twist just days before season 23 kicks off
ITV host Will Best has shared new details about a hotly-anticipated Big Brother 2026 house twist, and fans may be disappointed by the update.
A fresh season of the social experiment will kick off this Sunday (September 13) from 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. As always, hosts Will and AJ Odudu will welcome a new batch of strangers into the iconic house for eight whole weeks on national TV.
This two-month series will be the longest-running instalment since ITV picked up the programme in 2023, and it promises major changes. One of the biggest shake-ups is the “new house every week” twist, which was teased in ITV’s official trailer.
Fans were quick to share theories about how the change-up will actually unfold, with some speculating that the Housemates will move into a fresh home every seven days.
But presenter Will, 41, has confirmed “that’s not going to happen”. Speaking to fellow telly star Sam Thompson on the Staying Relevant Podcast, Will said: “So, normally, I know nothing.
“When I’m doing interviews, I know nothing. However, yesterday, I actually learned some stuff.” He went on to reveal what the twist will actually look like, adding: “It’s gonna be very different every week.
“Now, there was some thing of people [saying] ‘It’s gonna be a totally different house every week!’ That’s not gonna happen. It’s gonna be a house of different things every week, and I have been told what each week is.”
He also hinted that the series will appeal to Zillennial, the generation between Millennials and Gen Zs, audiences.
Will concluded: “[We’re] keeping it feeling fresh and new and ITV, cause it does feel different on ITV, whilst also giving some heavy nods for the OG Big Brother fans.”
It comes just two weeks after ITV shared an exciting trailer for the new series.
As the teaser unfolds, Big Brother is heard saying: “Big Brother is back. But if you think you know the game…think again. A new house every week. Fresh chaos daily. Everything can change, in the blink of an eye.”
Big Brother begins September 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and streaming on ITVX.
