The podcaster has welcomed her third child after the devastating loss of her stillborn son Phoenix and the death of late husband Tom Parker.
Kelsey Parker has revealed she’s given birth to her ‘rainbow baby’ in a sweet Instagram post. The 36-year-old podcaster, who was previously married to the late Wanted star Tom Parker, shared her happy news with her Instagram followers this morning, September 20.
Kelsey shared a snap of a baby’s arm and also revealed her little one’s unique name with a pink sign that reads ‘River’. She captioned the snap: “Welcome to the world, River. Our little bit of hope.”
Kelsey welcomed little River with her tree surgeon boyfriend Will Lindsay, whom she has been dating since September 2024. She is already a mum-of-two to her daughter Aurelia, six and son Bodhi, four from her marriage with Tom.
River’s arrival comes over a year after the heartbreaking loss of her baby son Phoenix, who was ‘born sleeping’ in July 2025 at 35-weeks old. Previously recalling this devastating experience, Kelsey shared that she was only able to hold her little boy for nine minutes after he was born at home.
When the ambulance arrived at her house, Kelsey said Phoenix was taken out of her arms and the police were then called, who told her that her home was a “crime scene”.
Kelsey announced back in June she was expecting another child. In an Instagram post, she wrote: “A year ago next month, we lost our beautiful baby boy, Phoenix.
“And somehow, through all the heartbreak, it feels like Tom and Phoenix have sent us another little gift from heaven, our little rainbow baby.”
Despite enduring such unimaginable grief in recent years after the loss of her husband Tom in March 2022 and then Phoenix, Kelsey has vowed to not let her heartbreak stop her from living.
She previously told the Mirror: “We’ve been excited since the day we found out I was pregnant again. I just don’t let myself go to that dark place of, what if? It’s not me.”
She added: “We never know what’s going to happen in life, do we? So there’s no point being anxious. We can’t control what happens.
“Six years ago, I thought I would still be with Tom, we’d have our kids, we might be planning more kids. But that’s just not where my life went.”
After announcing the news of Phoenix’s arrival, friends and family rushed to the comments to congratulate Kelsey and Will.
One wrote: “What beautiful news to wake up to. I’m sooo happy for you all, welcome to the world River.”
Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid commented: “Oh my goodness – this is so wonderful – welcome River.”
Charlotte Dawson replied: “So happy for you all. congrats my darling xxx”
