An extra 250,000 tickets will now be up for grabs in the UK
Oasis have announced extra UK dates to their Oasis Live ’27 tour due ‘to ‘phenomenal demand’. The band took to Instagram this afternoon (September 23) to reveal they have added more shows at three locations across their highly-anticipated 2027 tour which spans the UK, Ireland, US, and Europe.
And it’s good news for Brits as two of these extra dates are at Knebworth on September 25 and 26 next year, which will be the final two nights of their tour. Oasis initially announced four nights at the iconic venue, which has a maximum single-stage concert capacity of 125,000 per day, but will now play six.
This means an estimated 250,000 extra fans are now in with the chance of getting tickets at Knebworth alone. Other new dates include an extra night in Munich on July 6 and another date in Rome on July 26. A Paris show has also been rescheduled to July 20.
Oasis are set to kick start their mammoth tour at Celtic Park next May with five nights at Parkhead on May 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29. While new dates have not been added to Glasgow, there is potential for more to be announced due to gaps between shows.
The Gallagher brothers could decide to add a few more shows to the Hoops stadium before their initial start date. Or they could add more at the end as there is six days between Glasgow’s final date and the start of their 11-night run at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.
The band took to Instagram this afternoon to announce their tour extension.
The post read: “Due to phenomenal demand, extra shows in the UK, Italy and Germany have been added to Oasis Live ’27! Knebworth: September 25 & 26. Rome: July 26. Munich: July 6.
“Oasis will also now play Paris on July 20 & 23, due to railway engineering works on the venue on July 24.”
Fans who want to be in with a chance of grabbing tickets will have had to already signed up to the band’s register link, which expired last week.
Upon registration, fans were asked to select their three preferred cities that they would like to attend a show, ranking them from first to third place choice.
The lucky ones will then be sent a unique code to their email that will allow them to enter a Oasis tickets sale for an allocated city and date.
Codes will start to appear in fans’ emails from tomorrow on Thursday, September 24, and will continue until September 27. Fans are being urged to keep their eyes peeled on their inboxes as thousands will be selected for a code in the coming days which will allow them access to the sale this weekend.
