PAVE Studios has appointed Jennifer Passovoy as Head of Unscripted Video and Senior Producer, from 31 August.
Jennifer will oversee a new division dedicated to unscripted streaming series and celebrity-focused content, reporting directly to Max Cutler, Founder and Chief Executive of PAVE Studios.
Her background includes five Emmy awards and a significant role in shaping unscripted television and digital media.
At Paramount, Jennifer led creative efforts for major franchises such as RuPaul’s Drag Race and Ink Master, contributing to Drag Race’s highest-rated premiere in six years.
Max said: “Jennifer Passovoy’s work remains cemented in the human connections that she has been able to develop over her impressive career.
“At her core, Jennifer is a pop culture historian who understands a creator’s authentic voice while translating it into content that doesn’t just perform, but lasts.”
The company says Jennifer brings a focus on talent-driven storytelling and a track record of developing content that resonates with audiences. Her experience across casting, story development, and post-production, positioning her to lead PAVE Studios’ efforts in expanding its creator-led video content.
As the company continues to grow its presence across platforms, Jennifer’s appointment is intended to strengthen its commitment to developing original, creator-owned intellectual property.
Jennifer commented on her new role: “The best unscripted TV has always come down to finding people who are magnetic on camera and building a world around them.
“That talent is everywhere now, and most of it is coming up outside the traditional pipeline. PAVE is built to move on that, and I look forward to applying my experience as a producer of hit unscripted TV shows to the creator economy, and working with celebrities and rising stars to tell great stories across platforms.”
