The Secrets from a Coach podcast has reached its 300th episode, continuing to attract listeners worldwide with practical workplace advice and themed discussions.
Since launching during lockdown in September 2020, the podcast has surpassed 72,000 downloads, with 78% of its audience based outside the UK and 81% tuning in via mobile devices.
Hosted by wellness coach Debbie Green from Wishfish and TEDx speaker Laura Thomson-Staveley from Phenomenal Training, the show has consistently ranked in the Best Life Coach, Workplace, and Leadership UK Podcasts by Million Podcasts, and maintains a 4.9-star rating on Spotify.
The first episode, which focused on imposter syndrome, remains the most revisited in the archive.
The format has evolved from individual episodes to monthly mini-series, each exploring a single workplace topic across several conversations with special guests.
The 300th episode is part of the August “Reset, Relax and Unwind” summer series, offering five tips to help listeners relax their minds and transition into holiday mode.
Debbie said: “Three hundred episodes feels surreal! When Lau and I sat down to record our first episode, we wanted to have useful, honest conversations.
“We never imagined we’d still be doing it six years and this many Fridays later, while still having a ball! Huge thanks to everyone who’s been tuning in.”
Laura added: “What keeps this show going is the community around it – the guests who’ve trusted us with their expertise, the listeners who message us with a lightbulb moment, and Airaphon Ltd, who always deliver top quality audio and video.
“We’ve loved every minute of this journey, here’s to the next 300 episodes!”
Recent themes have included a June series on working parents, exploring the identity shift after returning to work, and a July series on quality human thinking in an AI-ready workplace.
Each episode lasts around 30 minutes and is released every Friday lunchtime, providing practical learning and positive actions for workplace and personal development.
The podcast is available on Spotify, Apple, Buzzsprout, or to watch on YouTube.
